Mr. Chris O'Dell joined the University of the Cumberlands' staff in the fall of 2017 with the Robert W. Plaster Graduate School of Business. Since then, he has worked in a few different areas at UC including advising, office management, and student development. He started his current position with the Office of Student Affairs in June 2022. During his undergraduate career at UC, he was awarded the Fitness and Sport Management Departmental Award in 2016 and he also achieved the accomplishments of becoming a Hutton Scholar and a James Taylor II Scholar. Since joining the UC staff in 2017, he began teaching online undergraduate courses for the Health, Exercise, and Sport Science Department in 2018 and the Business Department in 2023.

Mr. O'Dell is a USATF Certified Cross Country & Track and Field Official. He enjoys working many different athletic events at UC and local track and field meets. He lives in the Williamsburg area with his beloved family and dogs, who enjoy vacations and adventures with friends.
