A proven leader and educator with over 30 years in telecommunications and information technology experience who treasures a team environment, continual education, and philanthropic endeavors.  Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University.  Transitioning from the part-time work to support college, successfully managed Food and Beverage establishments prior to serving in the United States Air Force.  Served in the USAF in telecommunications as a Network Engineer and as a Database Manager.  Awarded the highest Air Force Volunteerism Award for his philanthropic work with the Student Mentor program.  Successfully led the migration of regional Air Force databases for the telecommunications career field.  Graduated with honors with a Masters from Webster University in Computer Resources and Information Systems during his tenure with the USAF. 

Jointly accepted positions at WorldCom and San Antonio College in 2000.  Led the billing system of choice for WorldCom as the Production Support and Development manager directly responsible for over $2.5 billion in annual revenue.  Also taught Information Technology classes as Adjunct Faculty in the evenings.  Following the restructuring from WorldCom to MCI, transitioned to Production Support for Systems Operations.  During this time, ensured 99.9% uptime by providing 24x7 support of critical systems.  Became a Texas Realtor and aided businesses and residents in real estate transactions.  During the transition from MCI to Verizon, concentrated on higher education, and graduated with honors from Northcentral University with a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems.  Research focused on the social barriers to the use of digitized medical records.  Jointly accepted positions at Chico’s FAS and University of the Cumberlands in 2018.  Provided Digital Commerce Support for Chicos’s FAS directly responsible for over $600 million in annual on-line sales and $2.5 billion in organizational revenue.  Also taught graduate-level Information Technology online classes as Adjunct Faculty.  Served on many philanthropic organizations.  Most notably, as President of the CBTM organization which focuses efforts on Wounded Warriors and Education.

Outside of career, educational, and philanthropic pursuits, he is an active fisherman, captain, and scuba diver.  Focusing on many types of water sports frequently visits the Texas Coast and the Florida Keys in pursuit of lobster, snapper, dorado, wahoo as well as the tranquility of the great outdoors.
