Health Science Programs

We offer two types of medical degrees from which you can choose to pursue degrees:

Physician assistant studies graduates gain the knowledge, skills and credentials needed to sit for the PANCE Exam and enter into a rewarding future as a physician assistant. PA jobs are abundant throughout the United States in private practices, clinics, hospitals, and other health care institutions. As a key member of a health care delivery team, a PA improves access to quality medical care for all.

PAs are health professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. They perform a comprehensive range of medical duties, from basic primary care to high-technology specialty procedures. PAs have become vital to every medical and surgical practice, helping make sure office patients get seen in a timely fashion, acting as assistants in major surgery and providing pre- and postoperative care.

University of the Cumberlands also offers an online RN-BSN program for registered nurses looking for flexible and convenient nursing degree programs. These courses are designed to enhance your nursing skills and help you qualify for more advanced nursing opportunities. Our online Bachelor’s degree program can be completed in two years or less.
