"Being part of the new era of technology allows UC to be a great learning institution as well as versatile. Now students that normally could not go to college are able to work and support their families while getting a great education at home."
The online Master’s degree in Criminal Justice program is designed to accommodate both pre-professional students and those who are already working in criminal justice careers, and wish to further their education or advance within their respective agency. The faculty has extensive experience and is aware of the risks and pressures faced by personnel in the field. We are committed to working with non-traditional students by offering online courses and allowing students to work, study and interact with faculty as permitted by their professional schedules.
The Master’s in Justice Administration program builds upon UC’s long tradition of community service and our commitment to ethical leadership. It provides opportunities for rural and local criminal justice agency personnel to interact with other professionals employed in criminal justice administration jobs throughout the nation, and gain a first-hand perspective of how larger agencies, including state and federal authorities, operate. Our curriculum is planned with an awareness of the common prerequisites and academic preparation needed to enable students to become leaders in the profession.
