Can I apply before all of my prerequisites are complete?

You may initiate your application before completing all of the necessary course work. However, an application is not consider complete until all course is documented by transcripts as either complete or in progress. It is not recommended to have more than two courses in progress at the time of application.

When are applications due?

The start date for the next cohort is May 2011. Applications to the May 2011 cohort are now available and due to Graduate Admissions by January 12, 2011.

How do I know if my completed courses meet the prerequisite requirements?

If after comparing your course descriptions to the description of required prerequisites you are unsure that you meet requirements you may contact either Graduate Admissions or the Office of the Registrar with your concerns. The PA program cannot process these issues at this time.

What are the specific GRE requirements?

A GRE score achieved within the past five years is required. Although the program has not set a minimum score, higher scores are more competitive. Applicants who have earned a degree beyond a baccalaureate degree will have this requirement waived.

What degree and major is required for admission?

Applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree prior to matriculation. There is not a required major. Applicants may have majored in any subject as long as they meet the course prerequisites with satisfactory GPA of 3.0.
