Our two-year program in Professional Counseling is designed to accommodate students who wish to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Students are cross-trained in several distinct areas of mental health care and provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to become primary-care mental health providers.
Our Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology emphasizes the study of basic neurosciences and clinical psychopharmacology as a basis for the rational treatment of mental illness. This program is designed to provide students with the academic background and clinical training necessary to fulfill the educational requirements to become a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in most states. In addition, it provides the advanced scientific and clinical training required to become a Licensed Medical Psychologist in states which grant prescriptive authority to mental health practitioners.
