Dr. Leveque Levec is currently a chair for the Curriculum Standards Panel (CSP) for the Cybersecurity Foundation Series with the National Cyberwatch Center. In this role, he leads a team of panelists through the NCC-CSP architecture and mission to develop course-specific standards and advanced models of instructional design used in cybersecurity education, based on a competency-based, mastery learning curriculum library.

He has been working in the IT industry for the last 15 years for various government and commercial clients in Europe and the United States, as a Unix Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, and IT Director. In 2012, he worked as a qualitative and quantitative researcher, in the European Union-funded VISCED project that created an inventory and carried out a systematic review at international and national levels, of innovative ICT-enhanced learning/teaching "exemplar" initiatives and "e-mature" major secondary and post-secondary education providers for the 14-21 age group with a particular focus on Virtual Schools and Colleges in various countries in the world. He also founded and led an IT company in Maryland, USA. He holds several industry certifications, including CEH, CHFI, Splunk, and certifications with FEMA.

Dr. Levec is a vivid outdoors person and lives in a small farm in Maryland.
