Cumberlands requires all students obtain a minimum of 60 hours for an associate’s degree and a total of 120 hours for a bachelor’s degree. A minor in General Business provides students with a broad understanding of the key principles and practices that drive success in the business world. This interdisciplinary program is designed to complement students' major areas of study by introducing them to fundamental concepts in various business disciplines, including management, marketing, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. A minor in General Business can enhance graduates' employability across a wide range of industries or serve as a foundation for further studies in business-related fields at the graduate level if they choose to pursue advanced education or professional certifications.
